As predicted, it turns out that Wijaya Marketing Sdn Bhd and Welley Corporation (M) Sdn Bhd are not only scammers, but gutless cowards as well.
They didn’t have any of their uneducated criminal staff present to represent their scamming company during my hearing.
When dealing with people who found out about their scam, they tend to throw tantrums and abuse. Even threatening consumers with big words. However, they don’t even have the balls to attend the tribunal. That’s typical of cowardly scammers, lead by their Chief Scamming Officer, Alan Tan Chiang Hwa.
Regardless, I won my claim.
If Wijaya Marketing, Sinuri Marketing, or any other scamming subsidiaries of Welley Corporation (M) Sdn Bhd thinks that this is the end of my fight… You’re not only scammers but undeniably stupid as well.
This battle has ended… and I won. However, the war is just beginning to get interesting.

A Glotron Marketing ”dealer” visited my house yesterday. Firstly he said his company is doing a promotion, 50% off electronic goods from Japan and China. He said i just need to put my name, ic and signed on the ‘ang pau’ packet before i open it. Well, thats not much to lose there so i did and i open the ang pau packet. As soon as i open it, what i saw on the card is three electronic items selling for about RM6000+ and i got discount of 50% to purchase that item, then the the dealer turn to the back of the card and there’s this sticker stating RM1,500,000 draw and suddenly he gave a very ecstatic look and said ‘Ah!! Abang tahu, abang baru menang kita punya company Rm1.5 million draw’ . It was a very funny expression come to think of it. He explained to me about the condition in winning the prizes and also showed me some newspaper clippings of their past winners. Behind the sticker on the card is a prize, he told me i need to go back to their branch/office to ’scan’ and ‘certified’ by their branch manager before i get to know what is the prize. The prizes that i am ‘eligible’ to win is a Perdana car, a proton wira car, motorcycles and even cash money. But here’s the catch, the dealer told me that these vehicles was bought and paid by cash and the prize is there already, so he explained that if i won the car i need to purchase the three items stated on the card without the 50% discount which is Rm6000+, he said that this is to avoid the people from Income Tax department to question where i get the money to buy this car. I was kinda puzzled by then, but i just let him go on. So the next thing he said was do I want to pay by cash or by credit card for the 3 electronic items if i’ve won the car. He expected me to answer him and i gave my answer by saying how can he expect me to get RM6000+ from my bank on sunday? Then he ask me to perhaps pay by credit card or even asking my family to loan me the money for this item. And he said this is a chance of a lifetime, that i am paying only RM6k for a car, but the thing is, i don’t even know whether its a car that i won. For the cash money that i could ‘win’, i still need to purchase those items as well WITH the money i won. So the next step was going to his branch office in Bandar Baru Klang to get my card scanned and verified by his branch manager before i can tear off the sticker and find out what my prize is. Then he asked me if i could lend him my telephone to call his supervisor which is around that area to come to explain to me more about the prize i won. I agreed with him and before i called his supervisor number i called their office number and they were no one to pick up. So i questioned the dealer, and he gave an excuse that it was Sunday and that no one was working that day in office. And he said since i won a prize he will call the manager purposely to open the office so i can redeem my ‘prize’. So pass my phone to him and he made the call to the supervisor asking him to come to my house to explain more. As we wait for the supervisor to come, the dealer said that i must not forget to treat him a meal after i get my prize. Really wanna laughed that off that time. Soon his supervisor arrived and explained to me all over again about the procedure and the conditions i won and he even asked me again how am i paying for the 3 electronic items, whether by cash or by card. And he was quite ‘pushy’ to get me to his office. I was totally not interested in it at all and hence he said why not go to his branch first and by then we see how we can work things out. He even say if i cannot pay up the RM6k they will give me a contract to sign on to make me still eligible for the prizes. The contract is valid till next March for me to redeem the prize with RM6k. He also mentioned that the RM6k is more like a guarantee that i am really serious in getting the prize. And in my mind i was wondering how stupid a person can be if he is to withdraw RM6000+ and go to their office and not knowing whats gonna happen there. He explained that there’s nothign to really worried about and i even dont need to use my Rm6k also. So i said let’s go without the money first and see if i won the car then i will withdraw then money for you. The supervisor was irritated by what i said and hence he said, Brother, be gentleman la, you want or not this prize? if you dont want nevermind we give to other people.
I replied, ‘No, Thank you’. =) and i glad i did say so cos i found out this website and explained all the dirty things this company is doing.
The reason for me to explained all this so that other people will not fall for this gimmick. It is a very irresponsible thing for this company to practice this kind of gimmick and doing this to the society. I just hope the government will be able to close down this company indefinitely and put those in charge behind bars so that no one will get cheated by this scams anymore.
By the way, i have the supervisor’s number if anyone want to have a chat with him. =)

Their modus operandi is the same. They don’t afraid of so many bad news on media about their dirty and unethical business.
Last two days, their branch of fancy ed marketing company at Jalan Klang Lama was seized by the KPDNHEP and last night, there are 23 people from other ‘gores and menang’ company were accused for cheating people. If convicted, they can be fined and in prison for two years.
Lets make a move to report your cases to the tribunal and after the hearing verdict, they have to return back your money or ortherwise, KPDNHEP will raid their premise.
Michelle, you can check this website for other stories for wining the case. Good Luck. http://www.consumer.com.my/
Today, I’m going to the tribunal to arrange for the hearing date. The salesperson for the company said they are preparing my check for returning my money hence, I don’t have to report to the tribunal. But I’m going to report instead for society goodness and awareness due to so many cases arise lately.

In my case, they already returned all my money back by cheque before hari raya and I returned back all their stuffs, unopened and unused together with the receipts. Yesterday, I withdrawn my case against them to the tribunal but I still proceed my complaint to the ‘penguatkuasa KDNHEP’ and they promised to have a thorough check with the company.
You can negotiate with the company or return back all their stuffs if you don’t want to use the stuffs but most importantly, never give them the receipt unless you’re satisfied with the negotiation or after the hearing at the tribunal.
They just want to sell their goods with cheating people with low quality of products. So, if you want to use and satisfy with their goods and price, you can use them. but I doubt they are in a good quality and have a legal service quality. They don’t even put their company chop and date of purchase at the guarantee card.

November 2nd, 2006 at 5:21 pm
I wish you luck and don’t afraid of their treaten. During the hearing you can bring all evidents (receipts, witnesses, guarantee cards or anything you feel useful for you).
We are consumers that have a right to return back all goods and get full refund if we are not satified with them.
